Design Brief
The brief for Elm Tree was to reconsider the internal configuration of the house, transforming a mid-century property whose previous owners had lived in for the pas 50 years and was in need of modernisation.
Architecture
The architectural and structural design process involved a complete dismantling of the interior, stripping out all floors and walls to accommodate the new internal layouts.
The kitchen required an extension to provide a more defined family space and the introduction of floor to ceiling windows throughout the ground floor to bring as much light into the living space as possible.
Design Details
After re-figuring the staircase location to allow for as much space as possible to utilise we designed a bespoke stairwell made of timber and glass.
Interior Design
Interior design consisted of bespoke joinery located in each room to create as much storage possibilities as possible.
The kitchen is designed and made by MannMade London in collaboration with our interior design team.
The bathroom interior features marble and a luxury white suite.
Furniture Design
Bespoke furniture exists throughout the house, including handmade wall-hung sideboards, a wine cellar, tailored shelving solutions, fitted wardrobes and vanity units.
All furniture was designed and made by MannMade London.
